Izziyana Suhaimi Art

Given the over population issue that currently haunts our earth, it becomes more and more difficult to find true talent. In other words, there are so many people who create within the art hemisphere that those with a special gift are sometimes over looked. Instead of crystal clear water the water now appears a bit clouded. However, when someone with real talent and ardor for what they do come along,  they should not be missed. Izziyana Suhaimi is one of these people. I stumbled across her tumblr last night and her art really struck a cord with me. She combines graphite (pencil) and embroidery to create a lasting effect on one's eyes. In my opinion, the aesthetic value of her work is so pleasing I find it priceless. Her touch is refined yet playful and there is something in the stroke of the graphite that feels a bit melancholy. Recently featured in Nylon Magazine Singapore this up and coming artist is not going to be "up and coming" for long. Take a gander at some of her gems...
