This young lady had an effortless air about her, very confident and quiet. Her personality reflected in her aesthetic. Dressed in what appeared to be all vintage...
I love my grandma and everything, but this woman made me wish we were related. Chic and age appropriate...sick-ass converse and her silver bracelets told you she was a well traveled woman. Good choice of color as well.
This hot tamale was too hot to handle...probably 50+ years old full of bobbles and HOT PINK YEOOOOOOW.
TO SEE US, JOIN US NEXT TIME AT THE LONG BEACH ANTIQUE MARKET...JUNE 17.
This, I can't stop listening to. Front woman Channy Leaneagh considers herself an instrument to the band, she manipulates her natural voice with an effects pedal to add layers, or create delay in her singing. It's incredible; She started in Gayngs- which is another band with a very different concept- Ryan Olson, creative mastermind behind Gayngs collaborated with Leaneagh to develop this crazy sound, though Olson is not in the band he is to be highly accredited for developing what we have here. An impressive, choreographed sound incorporating voices bass drums(there are two drummers...who play perfectly in sync.?!)and much more.. Give You the Ghost.
I just started reading E L Jameses Fifty Shades of Grey. It seems to be receiving a huge response...hmm. The Poliça sound serves as a really great soundtrack to the story, always good.
MATTHEW HOLLINGS
Along with the new music, new book, I also came across new art! Stimulation is good. This is contemporary illustrator Matthew Hollings,
The drawings of are so detailed you’d swear that they were photographs that had been run through the sketch tool. Mostly focusing in on pop and rock stars, I like how Holllings combines a realistic sketch with a more abstract background to give the overall piece an artistic feel. Each piece is him, yet remains entirely unique and somehow indescribably reflective of the style of the musician he portrays.
My favorite is his Cobain, and Yorke.

TOMBSTONES IN THEIR EYES. ..
make a wish.
Pictures one of us like...one of those days where you hear insane stories and somewhat sad things occur. ---Time does not stop for anyone--even when you are gone---. Pictures from a few people I admire as photographers... Barbara Vidal, Leif Podhajsky, Ellen Rogers. -C. *Our friend took a picture of the candle burning at our outdoor dinner
Still in awe of the fact that we found this silk skirt. Oriental Print and 100% Silk. Black button down vest, worn closed as a blouse* Works very well.
The silk blazer jacket is a VERY vibrant poppy color, and the fine lining is an also very vibrant fuchsia. It uncannily matches the detail of the oriental skirt...some things are just meant to be
